AZ-04 — Establish readiness
Unit Zero · Lesson 4 of 4
Distinguish preparation, professional determination, approval and execution.
Information readiness asks whether relevant evidence has been assembled and assessed. Professional determination asks whether the appointed parties have answered their questions. Commercial approval belongs to the authorised decision-maker. Execution concerns whether the action actually occurred.
A dated Decision Readiness Receipt can record a purpose-specific preparation state and unresolved dependencies. It is not a legal certificate, lending approval, valuation or authority to proceed. Permission to disclose it does not create third-party reliance.
Try it
Write a short fictional summary stating the decision, evidence cut-off, supported facts, uncertainty, proposed owners and next actions.
Reflection guide
The day-90 preparation position remains conditional. The conflicting validity periods and missing determinations remain explicit. Identify recipient and use limits. Do not say “approved”, “safe to proceed” or “completion guaranteed”.
General education using entirely fictional examples. No client outcomes, legal, title, valuation, investment, lending or technical determination is established. Authorised professionals retain their responsibilities. No third-party reliance or engagement is created.
