A statement is not authority evidence

An operational contact says a condition is resolved, but the required professional or lender confirmation has not been evidenced. The contact’s statement remains an assertion. A senior job title or system permission does not establish authority for every decision.

Identify the actual decision

Record who supplied the statement, their role, the condition concerned and the missing authority evidence. Distinguish an instruction to investigate from an approval, waiver or professional determination. If the required decision-maker is unknown, preserve that gap rather than assigning authority by assumption.

Use accepted responsibilities

Propose an owner and an action, then record whether responsibility has been accepted. Keep escalation and urgent deadlines visible. Aurestone can clarify the dependency; it cannot manufacture approval or confer powers that the source evidence does not establish.
